James "Woody" Fritts originally founded Fritts Insurance in 1957 in Mt. Sterling, KY to serve the community that he loved.  Woody's son Tony joined the agency when he returned from college.  In 1992, Tony became the Deputy Commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Insurance; returning to the agency in 1996.

In 1994, Tom Million joined Fritts Insurance after twelve years in the insurance business.  With the arrival of Tom, Fritts-Million Insurance, Inc. was born.

Throughout the years, Tom and Tony have continued to expand the agency.  In 2002, a Louisville Office was opened and in 2010 became an ISU member agency.

As an independent insurance agency, FMI has the ability to shop your needs through multiple companies.  This allows us the flexibility to find a company that best fits your needs rather than making you fit the designs and programs of a single carrier.

We currently have 10 full-time licensed agents trained to handle a full range of services.
