Evercoat began as Fibre-Glass Evercoat in 1953. Our first formulations were developed in Cincinnati and sold throughout the US.  We quickly recognized the need for quality automotive primers and fillers, and began marketing Evercoat products designed for use on automotive body repair.   
In 1995 ITW acquired Evercoat.  ITW (Illinois Tool Works) is a Fortune 200 Company listed on the NYSE.  ITW is a diversified industrial manufacturer with over 300 companies worldwide.  ITW companies have a significant presence in developed as well as emerging markets. 
Over the years, Evercoat has invested heavily in technology, allowing us to be first to market with many leading products.  Rage ® was the first stain-free body filler, Quantum 1 ® was the first 10:1 filler technology and Rage Ultra ™ is the first filler using Eco Resin™, an environmentally friendly resin which also provides superior sanding capabilities.  We lead the industry in the use of “green” technology.  Additionally we have been first to market with high build polyester primers, polyester glazing putty, light weight pourable glazing putty, unique packaging, direct to paint and time-saving body repair SOPs.  Many of our unique formulas are patented.
We have a wide range of additional products which have been developed for the domestic and global body repair industry, including adhesives, spray filler, plastic repair and ancillary products.
