Our Firm - Jack Nitz & Associates was found in 1962, by Jack & Delores Nitz. We are a full-time full-service Auction & Real Estate Firm. We are dedicated to bringing a much broader exposure to the properties we sell for our clients. We have a team of experienced real estate, auction, advertising and marketing professionals. Our firm has long been recognized as a leader in the industry for honesty, integrity and results.

The vision that we share is to be the first choice for Real Estate & Personal Property Sales and Auctions in our market area. We have been very blessed to sell property in a rather large market from the eastern border of Iowa to the western border of Nebraska, from the southern border of Kansas to Missouri, even as far out as Idaho & North Dakota. With the main market area including Fremont, Omaha, Lincoln, Columbus, Sioux City, Wahoo, North Bend & many smaller surrounding communities. 

Our firm offers over 80 years of combined expertise within 3 generations. Our founder, Jack Nitz, is a leader in the company today, is recognized nationally as a leading auctioneer and was inducted into the National Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame in 1997. His son, Jay, now serves as President of our company, is also a leading national auctioneer and real estate professional and has earned the prestigious Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA) designation. Jay served on the National Auctioneers Association Board of Directors from 2007 to 2010 and is currently serving on the National Auctioneers Foundation Board of Directors, elected in 2014. Courtney, Jay’s daughter, is a talented auctioneer and will have the Auction Technology Specialist (ATS) designation later this year. Furthermore, Jack & Jay Nitz and Courtney Nitz-Mensik have all earned their Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) designations from the National Auctioneers Association Educational Institute.
