Jackson & Carter is an Austin based law firm that specializes in representing hospitals, hospital related organizations, physicians, and other health care providers throughout Texas. The firm was founded in 2013 by Brian Jackson and Craig Carter, both of whom were previously Partners at the law firm of Davis & Davis (subsequently known as Davis Fuller Jackson Keene).  In addition to providing legal services for healthcare providers, the firm works closely with the Texas Hospital Association and its Family of Companies, including serving as General Counsel for the Texas Hospital Insurance Exchange and the Texas Hospital Association Retirement Plan.  The Firm also serves as General Counsel for the Texas Alliance for Patient Access ("TAPA"), working to preserve the health care tort reform that has greatly contributed to the availability of health care throughout Texas.  In addition to Mr. Jackson and Mr. Carter, attorney Matthew O'Neil, who also specializes in the legal representation of health care providers, is affiliated with the firm, as well as other attorneys who are utilized on a contract basis.
