Jazeera Airways is a Kuwait-based airline operating in the Airlines and Aviation sector, headquartered in Kuwait City, al Asimah, Kuwait, and employing between 1,001 and 5,000 people. Established in April 2004, it is Kuwait’s leading low-cost carrier and the first privately owned airline in the Middle East. The airline operates a fleet of 23 Airbus A320ceo and A320neo aircraft and serves nearly 70 destinations across the Middle East, Central and South Asia, Africa, and Europe; in 2018 it became the first in the region to introduce the A320neo. Jazeera Airways operates from its own dedicated Terminal 5 at Kuwait International Airport. It is listed on Boursa Kuwait and is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA); the company has 26 new aircraft in its orderbook, including 18 A320neos and 8 A321neos expected to join the fleet from 2027 onward.
