The Jersey City Employment and Training Program (JCETP) is a nonprofit organization focused on workforce development, operating under the Workforce Investment Act, which was enacted in 1998. Based in Jersey City, New Jersey, the program has served residents for about 28 years. It provides outreach to job seekers, workshops to prepare them for employment, and intensive services for eligible participants, along with a range of youth programs that support in-school youth with summer employment and guidance as well as out-of-school youth entering the workforce. JCETP collaborates with social service agencies to help customers secure employment. Over more than two decades, the organization has worked with more than 25,000 youth in Jersey City. With a local focus, the organization operates as a small to mid-sized entity within the professional training and coaching sector.
