The Jewish Women’s Archive is a non-profit organization that documents Jewish women’s stories to elevate their voices and inspire change. Based in Auburndale, Massachusetts, it focuses on building a more diverse historical narrative that includes Jews of Color, LGBTQ+ Jews, Jews with disabilities, and Jews by choice, with the aim of informing present-day discussions on women’s issues and empowering future generations. The organization serves a broad audience of people across many ages and backgrounds who engage with its resources through programs, fairs, and its blog and podcast, positioning itself as a leading voice in feminist and Jewish spheres. JWA maintains the world’s largest collection of information on Jewish women and supports its mission through public programs, leadership training through the Rising Voices Fellowship, and online resources that draw on historical perspectives to illuminate contemporary concerns.
