Jobcare is a Dublin-based charity operating in the human resources services sector, dedicated to helping unemployed people build the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to secure work or pursue further education. Operating from a Christian ethos, it provides training, resource services, and transitional work programmes to prepare jobseekers for a changing employment landscape, while partnering with businesses to ensure the services stay relevant to employers. The organization uses a workforce model in which staff largely comprises participants in its own programmes, including the Trasna initiative for ex-offenders active since 2008. Its offerings include a four-week Jobseekers Course, one-on-one CV and jobsearch assistance in a Resource Room, and career coaching and workshops delivered by volunteer coaches and partner volunteers; Jobnet was designed in 2010 as an award-winning programme for jobseekers. In 2017, LinkedIn partnered with Jobcare, reflecting collaboration with major platforms to support its mission.
