Johnson Cartwright Jarman Architects, P.A., has been built upon a foundation of Traditional Architecture and with knowledge gained, among elsewhere, at the nationally recognized design firm of Cooper Johnson Smith Architects, for which Doug Johnson was a founding partner and with whom our three Principals had a combined 34 years of tenure. Established in 2006, our three Principal Architects have successfully completed custom single and multi-family residential, educational, mixed-use, commercial, religious, tenant improvement, and planning projects with over $200 million of combined project experience.

Johnson Cartwright Jarman Architects, P.A. takes pride in providing high quality and technically sound traditional design in a cost effective manner. The small size of our firm, and the direct involvement of a principal architect in all projects, allows us to focus on projects both large and small while maintaining a high level of control over the design process without incurring unnecessary overhead costs.

As a testament to the services we are able to provide, a significant portion of our work is with repeat clients or for new clients referred to us by satisfied past clients. Current clientele are from both the private and public sectors.

All three of our Principals are members of the American Institute of Architects and are certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. This NCARB accreditation facilitates our ability to gain professional registration throughout the United States, and our Principals have all successfully completed projects outside the State of Florida. Current registrations include the States of Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania and we gladly seek registration in additional states as project opportunities are presented.
