Dr. Mejia is a Board Certified dermatologist, Mohs skin cancer surgeon and hair transplant specialist. His office strives to ensure the highest level of customer service and care. Dr. Mejia’s training is extensive having a degree in biomedical engineering, fellowship in hair transplantation surgery, and a graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and the University of Kansas Medical Center Dermatology Residency Program. He is a member of a variety of distinguished societies including the American Academy of Dermatology, International Society for Hair Restoration Surgeons, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Mohs Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons. Dr. Mejia is one of the only MD’s in the nation that is Board Certified in dermatology and dermatologic surgery and a Diplomat of the American Board of Hair Restoration surgery having done an extensive Fellowship in hair transplantation. He is a faculty instructor for other physicians at both the dermatology and hair transplant conventions and is is one of the few selected hair restoration surgeons featured on a live CNN interview focusing on hair loss options. Being an expert at skin and facial anatomy Dr. Mejia has a variety of lasers and cosmetic services to help with skin rejuvenation and restoration.
