Justice + Joy National Collaborative is a nonprofit organization in the civic and social sector that advances social, economic, and political justice for cis and trans girls, young women, and gender-expansive young people affected by chronic adversity, violence, and oppression. By focusing on root causes and cross-system approaches, it supports these communities in realizing their potential and living without fear of injustice. Based in Portland, Oregon, the organization was formerly known as National Crittenton. It operates with a small to mid-sized staff. In September 2024, it launched the Fixing Democracy initiative to envision a just and representative democracy that centers the lived experiences of girls, young women, and gender-expansive youth of color.
