(juwi), based in Boulder, Colorado, is a developer, EPC contractor and operator of large-scale renewable energy generation facilities.  juwi's U.S.-based staff focuses exclusively on the North American market and has considerable experience in power project development, construction, operations and finance.  juwi (and its U.S. and Canadian affiliates) have developed and built over 350 megawatts of solar projects and over 200 megawatts of operating wind projects in North America.  As of 2016, juwi has built utility-scale solar projects in more states than any other company.

juwi is wholly-owned by juwi AG, one of the world’s leading companies in the area of renewable energy. The juwi group was established in 1996 in Rhineland-Palatinate/Germany. Since 2014, the Mannheim-based utility MVV Energie AG has been partner and majority shareholder (63%) of the juwi Group. juwi has about 1,000 employees worldwide, branches on all continents and is actively engaged in various projects all over the globe. Working together with passion to implement renewable energy economically and reliably is what drives us. 

To date, juwi has erected around 900 wind turbines at more than 150 sites around the world. In the solar segment, juwi has developed and built more than 1,500 projects. Combined, these energy systems produce around 7.5 billion kilowatt hours of clean energy per year, equaling the annual demand of more than 2.5 million  households.
