Its platform emphasizes free access to engaging titles through GamersFirst.com, with a focus on fostering dynamic player communities across multiple regions, including the US, Europe, Turkey, India, and South America. Headquartered in Irvine, California, the company maintains a multinational footprint with operating presence in cities such as Sao Paulo, London, Istanbul, Bangalore, and Seoul. The business sits within the computer games industry and targets online gamers seeking accessible, regularly updated online experiences.

The organization positions itself as a publisher and service provider for online games, aiming to sustain and grow player engagement through reworkings of game pricing and infrastructure improvements, as evidenced by recent activity around new events and deployment of preventative anti-cheat measures. With a relatively smaller, regionally diverse footprint, K2 Network appears to focus on building and maintaining online communities by offering free access to titles and supporting ongoing game operation in a global market.
