The Kabel-X technology allows infrastructure owners and operators to reuse their valuable existing cable infrastructure by safely removing the existing twisted-pair or coaxial conductors and replacing them with optical fiber. It  works without major excavations or disruptions and it requires less engineering, less detailed planning, less expensive on-site construction, and far less site restoration, making it faster and more economical than conventional cable conversion processes.  The process works equally well above or below ground, outdoors or within buildings and structures.
