Kansas City Design Center is a nationally recognized service-learning design program operating as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) partnership among local civic leaders, professional designers, and the architecture and planning programs at Kansas State University. Based in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, it integrates students, design professionals, community members, and civic institutions to address urban design challenges. Its mission is to use design across scales to foster a more equitable, resilient, and economically vibrant Kansas City.
