Kansas Health Science University (KHSU) is a nonprofit higher-education institution based in Wichita, Kansas, focused on developing education programs in emerging health-care fields. It opened the Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine as part of its effort to expand health-care training and address disparities in access to care in Wichita and across the state. The university operates a campus in downtown Wichita and collaborates with health systems and academic partners to broaden health-science education. In 2025, Hesston College announced a partnership with KHSU in conjunction with the creation of new bachelor\'s degree programs. The university has also engaged in regional hospital partnerships to provide training opportunities and align curricula with local health-care needs.
