Kara Tutoring Limited is a 501(c)(3) global non-profit organization that provides free online academic tutoring and mentoring to financially disadvantaged students in the ACT, SAT, AP, IB, GCSE, and various international examinations and general subjects.

Overview:
• Our mission is to eliminate the positive correlation between academic performance and socioeconomic status
• We provide tutoring for the following tests and curricula: SAT, ACT, AP, IB, GCSE, A Levels, TOEFL, IELTS, Egzamin ósmoklasisty, Class 10 CBSE, WASSCE, and general subject tutoring
• Global team: 300+ members in over 45 countries on all inhabited continents
• Significant social impact: our organization is currently helping over 500 students around the world
• Certified organization for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, a prestigious award bestowed by the President of the United States to honor the most outstanding volunteers and their service; we can administer this honor to our volunteers
• IRS 501(c)(3) registered

Our experienced tutors are highly achieving students:
• Required SAT score: 1500+ 
• Required ACT score: 34+
• Predicted or achieved 7s on IB subjects
• Scored 5s on AP subjects
• Our ambitious and hardworking tutors have been admitted to (or will be applying to) top-tier US/UK universities and the Ivy League.

We offer our students one-on-one Zoom sessions, in which we teach new content, go through practice tests/questions, and most importantly, cover different strategies for the test/subject. We measure our success on how much our students improve by. Thus, we do not set limits on how long students can stay in the program.
