Mission
KareFirst's mission is to provide excellent care for patients in long-term care facilities. We specialize in gerontological services and we have a wonderful staff of Nurse Practitoners that understand the needs of patients while collaborating with the facilities' Administrator, Director of Nursing, Medical Director, physicians and floor nurses.

We assess all aspects of the patient's health status, including health promotion, health protection, disease prevention and treatment. We adapt our care to meet the complex needs of older adults arising from age changes and multiple system disease.

Patient Care
KareFirst believes in the highest standards of patient care. We listen to their thoughts and feelings while completing the physical exam and implement early interventions to help the patient remain in optimum possible health.

Our plan of care and implementation of treatment focus on stabilizing the patient, minimizing physical and psychological complications and maximizing the patients health potential.

Facility Care
KareFirst services are provided in long-term care facilities that consist of nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, psychiatric care facilities, and assisted living complexes. We work in smaller facilities that have less than 100 beds, medium facilities from 100-200 beds and large facilities that have 200+ beds.
