Kartini Clinic is an internationally recognized pediatric eating disorder treatment center for children and young adults ages 6 to 18. We provide consultation and evaluation services in support of primary care physicians. 

In addition to medical evaluations, we provide higher levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization (day treatment), intensive outpatient (IOP) and tailored outpatient treatments. Our multi-disciplinary staff of pediatricians and licensed psychotherapists is one of the most experienced in the country, with over 3000 patients diagnosed and treated since 1998. 

Kartini Clinic staff are acknowledged experts in the diagnosis and treatment of a range of eating-related conditions in children and young adults, such as failure to thrive, food phobia, anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. We take a medical, evidence-based approach to the treatment of all eating disorders.  

As parents ourselves, we understand the tremendous strain eating disorders can place on an entire family, which is why we practice only family-centered treatment. Parents are always an integral part of the treatment team, and we are dedicated to creating the type of treatment program we would be satisfied taking our own children to.

At Kartini Clinic we practice in the knowledge that parents don’t cause eating disorders and children don't choose to have them.
