K.B. Johnson Oil & Gas Company was founded in 1921 as K.B. Johnson & Sons. Mr. Kemp B. Johnson entered the petroleum business primarily as a gasoline distributor serving rural farming communities throughout central North Carolina. Currently Harold III (Hal) and Kemp Johnson, along with their dedicated group of employees are serving residential, commercial, and agricultural customers in portions of a four county area in central North Carolina. 

K.B. Johnson serves our customers by selling propane gas and related services, bulk petroleum (gasoline, fuel oil, diesel, kerosene and aviation fuel), along with a complete service and sales department. Our sales department specializes in propane and natural gas appliances such as gas fireplaces, tank-less water heaters, space heaters and a complete line of gas grills and outdoor kitchens. We install and service all items that we sell and offer a factory-trained service staff. We maintain a complete gas fireplace showroom where all vent free and direct-vent fireplaces are hooked up and burning for your comparison.
