Born from a thirst for adventure, KC was created out of necessity to navigate the darkest of roads safely. Our founder Peter Kim Brown, along with his wife Carol, created the market for off-road lights in 1970 by retrofitting aircraft lights into sturdy housings, and influenced off-road culture forever. For over 50 years, the KC brand has been a symbol of outdoor freedom, adventure, and performance. We engineer features for off-road racing and then infuse them into lighting and adventure products used by those who prefer the paths less traveled. We stand for the outdoor enthusiasts - from off-roaders to hikers to mountain bikers to surfers and anyone in-between - because that’s who we are. Today, KC is still a story of family, quality, and innovation.
