Ken Moylan’s artworks are the result of extensive research and numerous preliminary drawings.  Executed in intricate detail and created with a variety of materials and techniques appropriate to the subject, culture and historical context of each individual work.  Moylan’s work are not usually  just painting or just sculpture but rather a combination of both.  Often resulting in the creation of hybrid image/objects that integrate realist painting into an architectural frame, meticulously designed and constructed in forced perspective.  Moylan integrates a variety of materials such as wood veneer, faux stone, gold or silver leaf into his frames to enhance the beauty, illusion or realism of his work.
