The Kentucky Cancer Consortium (KCC) functions as Kentucky’s statewide coalition for comprehensive cancer control, designated to receive a national grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as part of a network of state, tribal, and territorial programs. Based in Lexington, Kentucky, KCC brings together more than 70 organizations to coordinate cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and quality of life initiatives under Kentucky’s Cancer Action Plan. The consortium provides a common forum for member organizations to assess needs, set priorities, and share resources, enabling collaborative action to address cancer-related issues that affect the state as a whole. In addition to its core coordination role, regional efforts are connected through the Kentucky Cancer Program to support local implementation.
