Kentucky Mountain Health Alliance – Little Flower Clinic is a health care organization based in Hazard, Kentucky. Founded in 2005, it consolidated multiple projects to function as a single entry point for the Healthcare for the Homeless program, the Little Flower Free Clinic, and Rotary Free Clinic services. The group seeks to deliver quality holistic care through an integrated system of services for residents of Southeastern Kentucky and to reduce health disparities by expanding access to care. In spring 2012, KYMHA moved into the newly renovated Little Flower Clinic facility. Operating with a relatively small workforce, the organization serves counties in Southeastern Kentucky that experience significant health and economic challenges, including Perry and Harlan counties, which have high rates of diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, and obesity, along with unemployment and poverty. Its aim is to improve the health and well-being of underserved residents and those at risk for homelessness through coordinated, holistic services.
