Kieh celebrated 44 years of service in 2023 and continues to provide the industry with best-in-class testing, analysis and customer service.

With two locations in Elmhurst, IL (Chicagoland), and Gary, IN (Northern Indiana) we are able to provide testing services to customers nationwide through our shipping program and regional pick-up service. 

We are an A2LA-certified lab and pride ourselves on the standards we uphold. Kieh provides a wide range of services in mechanical and chemical testing, adhering to a wide scope of ASTM methods, as well as failure analysis, micro-structural analysis and consulting of all kinds. We have provided global services including testing products, fabrications, and sizes that no other lab is able to take on. We have provided expert witness testimony and can speak confidently on the properties and testing implications across a wide spectrum of metal applications. We will always take the time to work personally with you to ensure that your results reflect your documentation needs, and that you fully understand the data provided. Our goal is to ensure that your partnership with Kieh is comprehensive and trustworthy.

MECHANICAL TESTING: Kieh’s mechanical testing capabilities are extensive, and include some machinery and testing capabilities unique only to our lab. We also engineer parts and testing fixtures as needed for testing needs that require unusual or non-standard elements. We adhere to the standards of many ASTM Test Methods, including but not limited to: ASTM A370, E18, ASTM E384, ASTM A370, E8/E8M, ASTM E646, ASTM A370, E23, ASTM E517, ASTM A90, A90M, ASTM F606, F606M

CHEMICAL TESTING: With new state of the art testing capabilities, we can provide chemical analysis of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass and more. We provide results in accordance with ASTM E415 standards. If you have specialty chemical testing needs, we are always happy to work through the details and provide testing as requested.
