Founded in 1987 with its first venue opening in New York City, Knitting Factory Entertainment (KFE) is a creative producer, manager and distributor of universal music content, film/TV and theatrical events: The Company operates music venues and Amphitheaters across the country including New York, California, Idaho, Montana, Omaha, Oklahoma, Minneapolis and Washington. Knitting Factory Ent , one of the top 50 promoters in the world, produces national and international tours, concerts and events; Knitting Factory Records, along with its partner Partisan Records, manages recorded music catalogs and current artists and releases content in all formats ; Knitting Factory Management, which handles the careers of emerging and critically acclaimed recording artists both in the U.S. and overseas. KFE launched The Federal Bar: Gastropub and Music Complex, located in Los Angeles & Long Beach, CA and El Tejano & The Thirsty Merchant Bar / Restaurant in Los Angeles. KFE is also partners with Giant Step Media Marketing, The Connect Group Brand Marketing, Boomtown Brewery, Chris Moore Concerts, Selby Artists Management, and The Talk House web IP. KFE partnered with Spaceland Presents and Arts & Recreation Hospitality (A&R Inc) in LA to launch The Regent Theatre, as well as, A&R Inc to build Arrive Hotel in Palm Springs. KFE is also a partner with Monoblock Presents and Red Light Management on the critically acclaimed music fest, Desert Daze Festival in Southern CA.
