Knowledge Economic City (KEC) is a real estate and urban development project based in Medina, Saudi Arabia, established in June 2006 under the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. The project spans 6.8 million square meters and is planned to accommodate about 200,000 residents and 42,000 hotel keys upon completion. KEC's development portfolio includes residential neighborhoods such as Al Alyaa and Dar Aljewar, shopping destinations like Multaqa Almadinah and Madinah Gate, and international hotels, with partnerships to develop Madinah's hospitality sector with operators such as Archipelago International, Maison Privee, Hilton, Radisson Hotel Group, and Marriott International.
