KOCOWA+ is an American joint venture formed by wavve Americas, SK Square Americas, and the major Korean broadcasters KBS, MBC, and SBS. It operates a premium streaming service that provides Korean entertainment to audiences in the Americas and other regions, delivering new episodes roughly six hours after they air in Korea. The platform offers a broad slate—K-dramas, K-pop, K-variety, K-movies, and webcomics—with live-watching events and subtitles in multiple languages, backed by a library exceeding 40,000 hours of content. The company is based in Los Angeles, California, and was founded in 2016. Its offerings reach consumers directly via kocowa.com and mobile apps, as well as through distribution on Prime Video, Google Play, Roku, Comcast, and other MVPDs in the Americas. In September 2025, KOCOWA expanded its distribution by launching on Prime Video, including a UK market expansion.
