Kornegay Design, LLC is a Phoenix-based design services company focused on site furnishings crafted to emphasize sculptural form and long-term durability. Its products, including landscape containers, litter receptacles, and benches, are predominantly handmade from cast concrete, with the exception of a maple-pile bench made from thermally modified wood; the firm emphasizes the tactile qualities and aesthetic value of concrete as a primary material. The business highlights functional utility paired with enduring artistic appeal, aiming to provide products suitable for high-visibility environments such as resorts, corporate campuses, universities, healthcare facilities, and notable streetscapes. The company operates from its facility in Phoenix, Arizona, and maintains a relatively small to mid-sized team working on design and manufacturing, with opportunities for site-specific projects. A recent development noted in its communications is the launch of the Mex Bold Series, introduced in late 2021.
