KOSTAL Group is a global, independent family-owned manufacturer based in Lüdenscheid, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, that develops and produces complex electronic and mechatronic products. The group operates through four business divisions—Automotive Electrical Systems, Industrial Electronics, Connectors, and Test Technology (SOMA)—and maintains a presence at dozens of locations across 21 countries. Its activities span development, production, and distribution of components, modules, and systems for automotive electrical and mechatronic applications as well as for energy generation and efficient energy use.

The Automotive Electrical Systems division serves car body electrical and electronic technology, while Industrial Electronics focuses on renewable energy and efficient energy use, Connectors covers automotive and industrial connector systems, and Test Technology provides test and automation solutions. In 2024 the group expanded its manufacturing footprint with a new plant in Tangier, Morocco.
