Krugel Cobbles Inc. is a family owned company founded in March of 1982 with a pick-up truck, a borrowed trailer and an idea.  The idea was to give clients a beautiful finished product of the highest quality while at the same time providing tremendous personal attention and service.  The company now employs over 40 people during the peak of the year and installs over 150 hardscape projects annually.  Projects completed by Krugel Cobbles, Inc. can be seen throughout the Chicago area, especially the suburbs of the North Shore, including Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, Highland Park, Highwood, Glencoe, Winnetka, Wilmette and Kenilworth.

Founders, Hans & Jeri Hirsch, continue active roles while their son Jon, with the company since 1995 is now Sales Manager and Chief Operating Officer.   Creating a family atmosphere for all of their employees is very important.

Starting out primarily as a paver installation company, Krugel Cobbles Inc. gradually began to diversify the services offered as the demand from existing clients increased.  Today we have a masonry division specializing in flat & vertical stonework installationwell as a masonry maintenance division specializing in brick & stone restoration.

Krugel is not so interested in bigger and faster, but they pay a lot of attention to better.  Krugel employees are a perfect reflection of this philosophy and the result is happy clients and award-winning work.  Through continued community involvement, we are a part of your neighborhood.
