For four decades, the LACHSA Foundation has invested in and celebrated the success of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, a tuition-free public high school serving young student artists who are born to create. Every school year, the Foundation partners with LACHSA and LACOE to invest in exemplary arts curriculum and instruction such as learning from a faculty of internationally recognized, professional teaching artists, attending master classes in all disciplines, and presenting students’ diverse creativity through student-performed theatre, music concerts, film festivals, dance compositions, and visual art exhibitions. LACHSA’s impact is everywhere you turn from Broadway to NASA, from the Met to the NEA, from creative industry leaders to leading companies that inspire change across the world. LACHSA’s students, teachers, and alumni prove that this number one public high school for the arts in the nation is worth every investment. The LACHSA Foundation incorporated as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization in 1984 “to promote the arts and the advancement of young artists by raising and distributing funds for the establishment and operation of a public arts high school in Los Angeles County.
