Lake Michigan College is a two-year community college serving a diverse student body of about 5,000 annually, with campuses in Benton Harbor, Niles, and South Haven, plus an additional location in Allegan, in southwest Michigan. The main campus in Benton Harbor houses facilities such as the Hanson Technology Center, a commercial teaching winery, Beckwith Residence Hall, and The Mendel Center, a 1,500-seat performing arts theater and events venue. The college offers associate degrees, certificates, and a baccalaureate degree, with a focus on transfer pathways to four-year institutions alongside vocationally oriented programs. Its programs span Health Science, Manufacturing Technology, Hospitality and Culinary, Wine & Viticulture Technology, Music, Education, Business, and Computer Information Systems. Based in Benton Harbor, Michigan, Lake Michigan College serves the southwest Michigan region and, in 2026, appointed Dr. LaToya Mason as Interim Provost.
