Habitat for Humanity facilitates affordable homeownership for hard-working low income families who are not able to secure typical mortgages and who live in substandard, overcrowded, and unsafe housing. Habitat builds new homes and restores older homes in stable neighborhoods for these families offering a 'hand up' and a secure environment for their children to blossom.

Lakeshore Habitat is the local affiliate of Habitat International located in western Michigan and supports the Holland, Allegan, Fennville, Saugatuck, Hudsonville, and Zeeland cities and nearby areas.

Each Habitat office has a skeleton staff serving both full and part time with hundreds of volunteers.  Consider joining us as a volunteer to make a difference for a family in your community.
