Landmark Automotive Group was founded in February of 1975 as Landmark Ford in Springfield, IL. In 1980 the Springfield Chrysler-Plymouth dealership was purchased and was later expanded to include Jeep and Eagle products in 1995 and Suzuki products in 2004. In 2006, Landmark purchased Charlie Sattler Cadillac in Springfield and renamed it Landmark Cadillac. In 1998 Landmark Automotive Group purchased 50 percent ownership of Trinity Motors Chevrolet-Buick-Cadillac in Taylorville, IL. Trinity was renamed Grant Automotive and is an affiliate of Landmark Automotive Group. As a result of the company’s continual growth, Landmark Automotive Group has become one of the largest and most successful dealerships in the Midwest. As the trend toward consolidation of dealerships continues throughout the country, Landmark Automotive Group will continue to expand throughout the Midwest.
