Landmark Automotive Group is a mid-sized automotive dealer group based in Springfield, Illinois, with roots dating to 1975 when it began as Landmark Ford. Over the years it expanded by acquiring additional dealerships and brands, including Chrysler-Plymouth in 1980, Jeep and Eagle in 1995, Suzuki in 2004, and Cadillac in 2006. In 1998 Landmark purchased 50 percent ownership of Trinity Motors Chevrolet-Buick-Cadillac in Taylorville, renaming it Grant Automotive and establishing an affiliate in the area. Serving a regional market in the Midwest, Landmark Automotive Group offers a multi-brand portfolio from its Springfield base and its Taylorville affiliate. The organization is described as one of the largest dealerships in the region and is positioned to continue expanding amid ongoing consolidation in the industry.
