Landmark Facilities Group, Inc., is a professional engineering firm that focuses its services on the special needs of schools, libraries, historic structures, and their collections.  

The staff has a special capability in environmental controls and is well acquainted with facilities where the needs of performance, comfort, and sensitivity to architectural features are the governing priorities.  

The firm provides full engineering services including:  monitoring, testing, environmental analysis assessments, long-range planning, systems design, construction support, and operations training.  

Landmark Facilities Group has extensive museum and collections environment experience. The staff is well versed in the challenges posed by balancing the needs of various uses of space in museums including public exhibition areas, staff offices, collections storage, and art conservation areas.

Landmark Facilities Group has participated as the engineering team member for numerous master plans for museums and historic sites.  Our services included evaluating the existing facilities, preparing recommendations for improvements, participating in charettes to coordinate with other team members, and preparing reports and drawings.  

The firm has been involved with the design of numerous art conservation labs and our expertise is often sought by institutions planning new lab facilities.
