Last Gasp is a book publisher based in San Francisco, CA, specializing in graphic novels, manga, art books, photography, popular culture, underground comix and much more. Last Gasp was founded by Ron Turner in 1970 with the publication of Slow Death Funnies, an ecological underground comic anthology for the first Earth Day. Last Gasp then published the first all-women comic book, It Ain’t Me, Babe, followed by Zap Comix and hundreds of other comics and books over more than 50 years in business. Last Gasp’s recent projects include Ultra Heaven, a psychedelic manga by Keiichi Koike; Hail Murray! The Bay Area Punk Photography of Murray Bowles; I'm Enough, An Illustrated Beginner's Guide to Self-Acceptance and Interpersonal Relationships; and Shamanic Journey.
