Laurea on Uudellamaalla kuudella kampuksella toimiva ammattikorkeakoulu, joka tarjoaa ammattikorkeakoulututkintoon ja ylempään ammattikorkeakoulututkintoon johtavaa koulutusta sekä suomeksi että englanniksi. Laureassa voit opiskella suomeksi kymmenessä eri ja englanniksi kuudessa eri ammattikorkeakoulututkintoon johtavassa koulutuksessa. Lisäksi Laurea tarjoaa täydennyskoulutusta sekä avoimen AMK:n opintoja.

Opiskelu Laureassa pohjautuu kehittämällä oppimisen (LbD-)toimintamalliin, missä keskeisessä osassa opintoja on työelämäläheisyys sekä erilaiset yhteistyöprojektit ja -hankkeet työelämän kanssa. Opiskelu Laureassa on hyvin käytännönläheistä, ja opiskelijat pääsevät jo opiskeluaikanaan tutustumaan työelämään. Laureasta valmistuneet työllistyvät erinomaisesti.

Laurea University of Applied Sciences, located in the Greater Helsinki Region in Finland, has six campuses located close to good transport connections. With over 10 000 students and 680 employees Laurea is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Finland.

At Laurea students can study Bachelor’s degree programmes and Master’s degree programmes. Laurea offers 16 Bachelor’s degree programmes out of which six are delivered in English. Laurea also offers Master’s degree programmes also delivered in English.

Laurea also offers the possibility to participate in individual courses via the Open University studies.
Laurea produces new competences in the field of service innovations and carries out professionally orientated education, regional development and R&D activities by following the Learning by Developing (LbD) operational model.

Laurea merges research and development activities into its educational task. Working together experts from Laurea, students and partners generate new knowledge.
