Layton State Bank is a community banking institution serving the Milwaukee metropolitan area with a full range of banking services. Founded in 1920, its origins trace to Layton Park, where local businessmen helped establish the bank at the last trolley stop, and the main office remains in the original building. The bank has expanded across several communities, with locations in Greendale, New Berlin, and West Allis. 
The West Allis site, opened in 2012, also serves as the corporate office for executive and administrative operations, and the bank is a member of the FDIC and an Equal Housing Lender. In October 2016, North Shore Bank completed its acquisition of Layton State Bank's parent company.
