Lebanon College is located in the center of downtown Lebanon, New Hampshire. The College is in the Historic District on the pedestrian mall, adjacent to restaurants, banks and several retail shops. The main campus houses academic and business offices, classrooms, science labs, an ETS computer testing center, student commons, the library, and well-equipped Mac and PC computer labs. Lebanon College was chartered by the State of New Hampshire in 1956. Under State statute, RSA Chapter 292, the College is authorized by the New Hampshire legislature to grant degrees. The College is approved by the New Hampshire Department of Education (Division of Higher Education) and is certified by the State of Vermont Department of Education, Office of Postsecondary education to offer programs and courses in that State. Lebanon College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award certificates and academic associate degrees. The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. The Radiography Program at Lebanon College is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education In Radiologic Technology (JRCERT); Chicago, IL.
