Apprenticeship leadership Leicester College is the largest apprenticeship training provider in its city and sub-region, training nearly 3,000 apprentices across diverse programs. This presents opportunities to expand employer partnerships, scale bespoke employer training, and offer additional apprenticeship tracks or upskilling packages to current corporate clients.

Employer collaboration Strong ongoing relationships with a wide base of employers and a dedicated Apprenticeship Training Agency capability indicate a fertile path for expanding work-based learning contracts, tailored workforce development plans, and sector-focused training collaborations with existing employer partners.

Strategic sector funding Recent investment in priority sectors such as Creative and Performing Arts and Computing and Digital signals potential funding-aligned training programs. Sales opportunities exist in offering funded or co-funded upskilling initiatives, certifications, and customized courses aligned to these sectors.

Industry-ready capability The college emphasizes industry-experienced trainers, assessors, and a real-world focus, enabling quick deployment of company-specific training, recruitment-to-delivery support, and scalable upskilling solutions for businesses seeking compliant, workforce-ready talent.

Recognition and expansion Recent accolades and partnerships, including collaboration with Stokes Wood Primary School and recognition for carer support standards, enhance credibility for B2B pilots and long-term contracts with local and regional employers seeking trusted training partners.
