Leroy Street Studio is a New York based design practice emphasizing craft in construction and a collaborative design process. Our passion extends to every aspect of building, from conception through construction details. Rather than being defined by a singular style or aesthetic, our work is characterized by an accessible process that creates complex, authentic designs centered on the human experience.

Established in 1995, our studio has cultivated a thriving practice including architecture, interiors, and construction. Additionally, we founded Hester Street in 2001, an independent nonprofit dedicated to improving the built environment for underserved New York City communities. We work with a wide range of clients spanning residential, community, and institutional projects. Across all these typologies, our process empowers our clients and collaborators, allowing more people to have a direct hand in how their spaces are made.
