The business was started in 1924 in Middletown, NY by Frank H. Lewis and continued by Chris Lewis Sr. For 100 years  Lewis Sign Company has helped grow businesses and organizations throughout the Hudson valley.

The shop is equipped with computer operated router table, wide format digital printer, laminator, vinyl plotters. The business also sells Flag poles, Scoreboards, Electronic displays, Interior and exterior signs, Neon, LED, and Signs. The companies crane trucks are kept busy installing signs, hot tubs, roof top air conditioners, building trusses and flagpoles.
