The name "La Grande Orange" (LGO) was inspired by looking through old history books on Southern California. A pictorial review of the vast citrus groves that provide the United States with much of its fruit were always part of California's and its neighboring states’ story. In the 30s it was well known that the young and spirited would park their cars in a large circle and dance to the music of the day. Inspired by that piece of Americana, we pay homage to those good times, positive vibrations, and winning spirit. At LGO restaurants, flavors are big, portions are mindful and value is long. We believe in an honest approach to quality food with no hidden ingredients. At each restaurant, dishes are created daily with fresh ingredients showcasing LGO’s ability to transform American comfort food into healthy classics with a modern point of view.
