Reaching the next generation for Christ and equipping them to impact the local Church as disciples who make disciples. By assisting new church plants as well as strengthening existing churches of Romania through our extensive discipleship program that follows our youth summer camp season. Life Romania is one of the biggest camps in Romania. Our biggest avenue of evangelism and ministry is through our summer camps. We typically have around 12-15 weeks of camp in multiple locations where children from all over Romania come to encounter God’s love through fun activities, engaging Bible studies, and passionate staff. For many campers, this is the first opportunity they have had to hear the living Gospel and choose to commit their lives to Christ. When we are not in camp season, one of the ways we stay on mission is to organize weekend sport tournaments 10-15 times a year throughout the country in partnership with our church plant partners. Our goal is to not only reconnect with campers for fellowship and encouragement, but also to draw in their friends and family so that we can introduce them to the local churches in their area, thus building up the local church. In partnership with the Bible Training Center for Pastors program offered by Denton Bible Church in Denton, Texas and the Romanian Evangelical Alliance, MIA College is dedicated to equipping our local Romanian ministry leaders to win the nation for Christ by providing first rate doctrinal and leadership training from certified American teachers 4 to 5 weeks a year. Champions Weekends are an opportunity for individuals who have completed the discipleship program to fellowship and celebrate with others who have also completed the program as well as receive encouragement in their faith. These weekends take place twice a year, and disciples are asked to identify the “Timothy” in their own group of friends. We cover the costs of this event for all of its participants as a gift for their diligent work.
