Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) is a joint venture formed by Metro Pacific Investments Corporation’s Metro Pacific Light Rail Corporation, Ayala Corporation’s AC Infrastructure Holdings Corporation, and the Philippine Investment Alliance for Infrastructure’s Macquarie Infrastructure Holdings (Philippines) PTE Ltd. It operates Metro Manila’s LRT-1 system and is described as the ISO-certified train system in the area. On October 12, 2014, LRMC signed a 32-year concession with the Philippine government to rehabilitate, operate, and maintain LRT-1 for safety and efficiency, and to build and operate the LRT-1 Cavite Extension adding eight stations. The company is based in Pasay City, Malibay, Metro Manila, Philippines, and employs between 501 and 1000 people.
