When Christian L. Sauska and his former business partners established LightSources, Inc. in 1983, they envisioned a company that offered global OEM lamp designs and manufacturing with state-of-the-art technology and exceptional service and support. This vision lives today through the dedication of approximately 1,000 employees worldwide.

LightSources and its affiliated companies – LCD Lighting, Voltarc, LightTech, and Cerlux - are regarded as innovative, high-tech designers and manufacturers in the lamp manufacturing industry. Our products can be found all over the world in a multitude of applications and industries.

Light Sources, LCD Lighting and Voltarc are based in Orange, Connecticut. LightTech and Cerlux are located in Hungary (Dunakeszi and Oroshaza). 

Light Sources and LightTech are international leaders in the production of low pressure tanning lamps, specialty ultra-violet (UV) germicidal lamps and UV lamps for other specialized applications. Cerlux is the vertically integrated arm fabricating the necessary proprietary bases and sockets used by the lamp manufacturing companies. Complementing this line of products and markets is LCD Lighting – a global player in the supply of avionic, maritime, and backlight solutions. The latest addition to the family of companies is Voltarc, a leading manufacturer of neon and fluorescent sign lamps, neon tubing, electrodes and accessory components including Kulka Wiring Devices the leading brand of fluorescent sign lampholders in North America.
