SMB Software Lighting Technologies Inc is a small to midsize software company (11-50 employees) in Nashville, with a long history in lighting design software. This suggests a potential need for scalable software solutions, cloud services, and systems that support growth without overhauling core products.

Legacy Product The company has historical prominence around Lumen Micro lighting design and analysis software launched in 1982. This indicates opportunities to upsell modernized versions, maintenance plans, data migration services, and developer tools to upgrade or integrate with new platforms.

Tech Stack Use of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Nginx/OpenResty, ASP.NET, Lua indicates compatibility emphasis with enterprise-grade hosting, collaboration, and web services. Selling security hardening, cloud hosting, API integration, and performance optimization services could resonate.

Low Revenue Reported revenue under $1M suggests price-sensitive decisions and a need for affordable, scalable packages, as well as ROI-focused proposals, phased deployments, and value-based pricing aligned with small business budgets.

Market Position Compared to larger lighting firms, Lighting Technologies sits in a niche with specialized design software. There is potential to partner on channel programs or provide complementary solutions (data analytics, photometric data services, training) to strengthen competitive differentiation.
