On January 1, 2018, Lindquist & Vennum merged with Ballard Spahr LLP. The combined firm—which will retain the name Ballard Spahr—will have more than 650 lawyers in 15 offices nationwide. The merger will bring expanded service offerings and a national platform to Lindquist & Vennum attorneys, while extending Ballard Spahr’s national footprint into the Midwest.

Lindquist & Vennum LLP was a business-oriented, general practice law firm with 150 attorneys and offices in Minneapolis, Denver and Sioux Falls. The firm was known for its extensive M&A, bankruptcy, corporate finance and commercial litigation practices, as well as for groups focused on renewable energy, life sciences, financial institutions, and real estate. Also of note were its practices in product liability, insurance recovery, and securities and financial litigation.
